REUSE Speakers Forum 2011, Part 5- Sustainability & Society
The en.v Initiative' recently organized the REUSE Speakers Forum at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) - championed by Dow as the Title Partner. The purpose of the forum was to promote a dialogue on sustainability in the region and spark a discussion on ways that can further put into perspective the challenges that the Arab world is facing regarding environmental issues.
Through videos of the forum, the general public will learn about the importance of sustainability as it relates to the private sector (ie. companies and corporations) as well as the public sector (government and semi-governmental institutions). The videos further highlight issues related to gas emissions, renewable energy, agricultural productivity, waste management, and water shortage.
