Our Work with Organizations & Teams
Over the years, our work with organizations has included exploring approaches to sustainability and shared value, strengthening how teams plan for and assess impact, engaging more meaningfully with questions of diversity and inclusion, and developing practical skills in areas such as conflict management, communication, and community engagement.
Conflict Management & Team Building Workshop
2026 > In February 2026, we brought together 24 professionals from across the corporate sector for a three-day Conflict Management & Team Building workshop, in partnership with the British Embassy in Kuwait. During the workshop, participants explored how conflict emerges from miscommunication, unmet needs, and differing perceptions, and how it can either escalate or help us learn and grow. Through reflection and practical tools, the group examined not only what may drive workplace tensions, but also their own assumptions, reactions, and leadership styles.
Making the Business Case for Diversity Workshop
2020 > As part of our ongoing collaboration with the Pearl Initiative, we supported the implementation of this workshop which brought together industry leaders & regional professionals for insightful discussions on the ways in which businesses can and should support women employees for holistic business success.
2018 > Through workshops, outreach and networking opportunities and the development of a pilot employee-led volunteer program, this collaboration with Burgan Bank aimed to foster team-building and a stronger sense of community within the institution, as well as more strategic and effective partnerships with social innovators and change-makers working to foster a stronger and more sustainable Kuwait.
Community Engagement Pilot
2018 > As part of our efforts to increase the capacity of the corporate sector in the field of sustainability, we partnered with the Pearl Initiative to host this workshop providing local CSR managers with the tools to measure the impact of their initiatives and identify the most effective means of reaching their goals through results-based program design and monitoring and evaluation.
Planning for Impact Workshop
2015 > In collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kuwait, en.v organized this workshop targeted at CSR professionals at leading Kuwaiti organizations to introduce participants to the concept of creating shared value, and inspire them to think of more holistic and strategic ways to promote sustainability within their organizations and across society. Participants were also given the opportunity to explore creative collaborations with local CSOs and social entrepreneurs.
Creating Shared Value Workshop
2022-2025 > In collaboration with various partners including the Kuwait Social Work Society and the International Labor Organization, we have hosted three workshops for staff at the Public Authority for Manpower over the past few years, to support them as they try to better serve migrant communities. With a focus on cross-cultural communication, active listening and trauma-informed mediation, the training helped participants interrogate their own assumptions and develop a better understanding of the differing needs and lived experiences of migrant workers, equipping them with tools to engage more empathetically and effectively with different stakeholders.
Cultural Sensitivity Workshops
2012 - 2016 > The STAND program was developed as an international collaboration between en.v, PartnersGlobal and other regional partners in Yemen, Bahrain and Oman. Over the course of four years, it served as a leading incubator and facilitator of civil society development in Kuwait, providing high-quality, locally relevant training, advocacy and networking opportunities to local CSOs.
