Our Work with Youth & Students
Whether it’s in programs promoting more inclusive education systems, school-to-work transition, environmental awareness or social entrepreneurship, participants engage in processes that combine reflection with hands-on learning. These may involve design and systems thinking, participatory research, collaborative project development, and storytelling as a way of making sense of and responding to lived experiences.
What our participants are saying…
“The key take-away for me was interacting with different people, understanding their mindset, values, individual qualities and coming to a common ground with various different opinions”
- ENBAT participant“I think that the most significant outcome was improving my understanding of issues in my society and school and making me a better listener and speaker. It changed my way of looking at problems and discussing them.”
- Aswatna Participant“I now understand the importance of communication in the workplace in order to effectively reach organizational goals and targets”
- ENBAT participant“The most important take-away for me was respect: respect for time, respect for ideas, respect for individuals, respect for reactions and dialogue. I became more capable, grateful and I now respect everything in my life more.”

Active Citizenship & Advocacy Workshops
2023-2025 > Whether it's in civil society, in schools or in the workplace, we at en.v firmly believe anyone can contribute to building a more resilient and inclusive society when equipped with the appropriate tools and support. That is why for the past three years we have partnered with the Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO) in co-creating and implementing their flagship work-readiness initiative, Enbat.

ASWATNA: Finding our voice
2023-2025 > In our work, we have found consistently that youth feel deeply alienated by the educational system which they move through and therefore are consistently engaged in and curious about what else is possible. This project is an attempt to honor that curiosity by providing youth with the tools and skills we believe will allow them to reimagine what their schools and communities could look like.
AWAKEN Youth Fellowship
2021 > An immersive program for youth to collaboratively reflect on and reimagine public space, towards a more inclusive Kuwait. Participants had the opportunity to better understand and reflect on place as well as themes including migration, equity and belonging. -- their sociocultural and historical roots, and implications on our own individual understandings and experiences of our modern day community.
2017-2018 > In line with our efforts to promote innovative and participatory approaches, this pilot project funded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences aimed to support the development of participatory action research projects as a tool to increase environmental awareness and engage local youth in promoting environmental protection and sustainability.
