We listen and respond to community needs.

While each of our programs addresses a different priority area, they all focus on bringing together diverse stakeholders to promote inclusion, equity and participation in innovative and creative ways.

Whether it's in civil society, in schools or in the workplace, we at en.v firmly believe anyone can contribute to building a more resilient and inclusive society when equipped with the appropriate tools and support. That is why we have partnered with the Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO) in co-creating their latest flagship initiative, Enbat.

Nurturing transformational leadership

At the intersection of all of our work lies the objective of promoting solidarity and compassion amongst diverse communities in Kuwait. This program focuses on exploring behavior change approaches that can support us in doing so.

Building compassionate communities

Through a number of programs developed with diverse partners we have been supporting the work of migrant community leaders across the region, helping to develop mutual aid mechanisms, providing capacity-building opportunities, and promoting the community’s participation in local and international decision-making processes related to migration.  For further details on this work, please reach out to us directly at env@envearth.com.

Strengthening migrant resiliency

In our work, we have found consistently that youth feel deeply alienated by the educational system which they move through and therefore are consistently engaged in and curious about what else is possible. This project is an attempt to honor that curiosity by providing youth with the tools and skills we believe will allow them to reimagine what their schools and communities could look like.

AWAKEN: All stories matter

Whether challenging or rewarding, all of our past projects have provided us with immense learning opportunities, and have allowed us to establish the trust and connections that enable so much of our work today. Find out more about them below.

Driven by the conviction that as a society we are only as strong as the most vulnerable amongst us, BUILD supported the development and implementation of responsive and community-driven initiatives effectively improving the lives of vulnerable migrant workers in Kuwait.

Launched in early 2019, this pilot program aimed to address challenges related to the formal and informal education sectors in Kuwait through the application of the Collective Impact model, which creates the foundation for effective systems change through a focus on multi-stakeholder participation, coordination, alignment and learning.

Inclusive Education Reform

One of en.v’s key concerns from its inception has been to promote environmental sustainability. Environmental issues in the Arab world have often been ignored and overshadowed by other socioeconomic and political concerns, but are now just as pressing.

Over the years, en.v has been building the capacity of local civil society organizations to accentuate their role as drivers for social change. Whether it’s through the skills gained or the networks created, our alumni continue to inspire us with their success stories.

By encouraging critical reflection, dialogue, and action, we have been working to create a culture of engaged, active citizens equipped with the skills and resources needed to make a positive impact in their communities.

Youth Engagement

The private sector in the Gulf is a key actor promoting sustainability and social responsibility across society. By working with our corporate partners and clients, we help them increase their reach and impact while also building community, both internally and externally.
